Boy, did I get blasted! So many closed minds! Maybe my comment about them being "stuffy" hurt their feelings, but then they just validated my opinion! No, TFCT is totally different (I hope.) Everybody gets treated with respect and support, whether they are a world class vocalist, or a new kid with a dream. Everybody gets a shot. Criticism is always constructive, not destructive.
I love having the opportunity to witness greatness in it's infancy. We've already seen several members here go on to become huge stars -- Shealeigh, Sabrina, Karlijn, Makayla Lynn... the list goes on, and will continue to grow! My Wall of Fame is a shrine to their development and success. I hope to look back on it in several years and see all of their faces still gracing the stages and theater screens all around the world. And, if I have even a small part in helping make that happen, then I feel that I have contributed to making the world a better place. I am proud to be a TFCT member, and proud of ALL the performer and performances introduced here.

Hi Gregg,
I read your commentary and it got me thinking. I've been kicking around TFCT for a little over two years now. During that time I've had the pleasure of developing friendships with quite a few of the parents and kids that are currently or have been members here in the past. Some are on the list you mentioned and others were happy with their greatest accomplishment being a top 3 finish in their school talent show. Surprisingly, to me at least, is the high percentage of these kids with low self-esteem or poor self confidence. I have seen first hand a number of these kids grow in their belief in themselves or what they can accomplish primarily because of positive comments and reenforcement from this forum and others as well, YouTube and Facebook. Fact is few will become famous, but we at TFCT and in those other forums and sites can make a difference not only in sparking the careers of the few fortunate ones but also in the lives of countless others.
